Early in the morning would be one of the better times to photograph Emerald Lake as it is much less busy than throughout other times in the day.

To get to Emerald Lake you turn off the Trans Canada Highway on to Emerald Lake Road, near the small town of Field, British Columbia.
Emerald Lake has a small walking trail looping the lake. As you walk around the scenery slowly changes, but it’s all beautiful.
Tips or recommendations for Emerald Lake, Canada
There is no entrance fee. The best way is to drive yourself, there is a car park at the end of the road where the trail begins.
For a unique perspective, you can hire a canoe and paddle around the calm waters.
Emerald Lake is located in Yoho National Park, British Columbia, Canada. It is the largest of Yoho’s 61 lakes and ponds, as well as one of the park’s premier tourist attractions.
