The best place to photograph the Story Bridge is from Wilson’s Outlook Reserve. The park provides the perfect location to photograph the Story Bridge with Brisbane City in the background.
If you are traveling by car then there is on-street park in Bowen Terrace.
If you are walking from the city, the easiest way to access Wilson’s Outlook Reserve is from Howard’s Smith Wharves. There are two elevators, one at each end of Howard’s Smith Wharves, that allow you to easily reach the park at the top of the cliffs.

The road across the bridge is named Bradfield Highway. The bridge connects Fortitude Valley to Kangaroo Point. The Story Bridge opened in 1940 and was tolled until 1947. It is named after prominent public servant John Douglas Story.
